Backflow is the reversal of water flow in the plumbing system. This happens when water flows backward against the intended direction. The reversal (or backflow) can cause pollutants and contaminants to enter the potable water system.

Changes in water pressure or temperature are just a couple of ways backflow can occur. By having a backflow prevention device, this can greatly reduce the risk of contamination to the clean water supply.

Required annual inspections and tests not only keep the backflow prevention devices working properly, it also helps protect the quality of your drinking water. That’s where my company comes in.
